Question How do I lock something on the wall?

  1. With the noose I am making, I want it to be unusable unless it is locked on the lynching podium or a wall. I cannot seem to figure out

    If your going with the wall approach:
    give the noose a variable called var/turf/attached_to = null
    put a if statement to see if attached_to has something. example
    Code:
    if(!attached_to)
        usr << "You need to attach this to a wall first"
        return
    if your going with a podium approach, var/pathtoyourpodium/attached_to


    you should assign the wall or podium to the attached_to variable with whatever proc you use to attach it to.
