Open Response: Please answer each question with at least three sentences. You're administrating on the server when you get an ahelp that Player A has been griefed by Player B. You open the attack logs and see that player B has hit player A many times with an oxygen tank putting them into critical. What do you do from here? Why did you choose to take that course of action? Firstly, PM Player A and tell them that I am looking into it. I'll then check if player B is an antagonist or not. If he is, I'll tell player A it's legit, and if not I'll PM player B asking why he/she did that. I chose this, because it firstly allows player A to know that someone is working on it, so that they do not send anymore ahelps. I chose to ask for intent first, because there could have been a valid reason for it. You're in a debate with a fellow administrator in the admin chat. You're pushing for an idea that you feel passionate about, but they keep shooting your idea down at every turn and the disappointment/anger is rising. How do you handle this? If I'm getting really angry, which I probably wouldn't, step down and leave it for a while. I'd later ask other admins how they feel about the idea, and if no one agrees stop asking. What does it mean to be an administrator for our server? It means that you have been chosen to represent the administration staff of LS13, and that you are there to ensure that the server is kept to a standard of play. You are a role model to the server, and should act as such. An admin acting out of place is very bad for the server. Which is more important for a community: rules or principles? Why? Principals. We can have rules, but people will always try to find loopholes that get them away with their actions. A principal is going to cover more than just the exact wording, for example a rule saying "Don't kill people" will make people beat each other senseless and do things that would ruin their round, but not kill them. Having a Principal that suggests "Don't intentionally ruin another's round" is much less likely to be exploited within boundaries.
